Our Story
American Senior Benefits of Michigan is a family-run franchise based in Okemos, MI, operated by Stephanie James. We are part of American Senior Benefits — a nationwide company with offices in nearly every state, helping seniors navigate retirement for over 20 years.
Stephanie began her career in the retirement planning industry more than 15 years ago as a Medicare and life insurance agent, focusing on the senior market. Through honesty, hard work, and a commitment to doing what’s best for the client, she built a thriving agency and loyal client base.
In 2019, Stephanie joined American Senior Benefits and began growing our Michigan office. Today, we have nearly 30 agents working together to provide Michigan seniors with the best possible retirement advice and planning. With strong support in day-to-day operations, Stephanie now focuses heavily on giving back to the community — donating to local charities and organizations across Michigan every quarter.
